Julie Kittredge Art & Photography bio picture

Welcome to my blog!

Thanks for visiting!

I'm a mom to three amazing kids, wife to the man who swept me off my feet 12 years ago, and a child of God. I'm passionate about a lot of things, my family, my friends, my faith just to name a few.

I love the art of photography, messy mixed media, teaching, and inspiring others. I'm transparent and open, ready for girlfriend time at a moment's notice. I love watching my kids get excited about the things they are good at, and walking them through the things that are hard in life. I try to be intentional with my time, authentic in everything, and I try to embrace every moment. My goal for this place is to be a source of sneek peeks for my client's captured "moments" as well as a place to share my own as these fleeting days of parenthood fly by. I want to remember the moments that are often taken for granted in the busyness of the day to day. There is beauty and joy in taking time to freeze a moment with a picture, and even more joy in sharing it with others. Thanks for taking the time to visit. I hope you leave inspired in some way!

I was in a bit of a funk over Christmas and New Years,  finding it difficult to be creative, somehow my emotional state is very tightly tied to my creative flow. But lots of prayer, soul searching,...

the ultimate valentine

I was hired to commission an art piece for a 70 year old mother’s birthday gift to be celebrated on Valentine’s weekend. The entire family, her kids and their spouses, and all the grandchildren made hearts with a little message on them. I was given paper, a color scheme, and ideas that reflected her style...
