totally divine.

Well, it’s time for an onslaught of peeks at the sessions I’ve been up to this season. First up is Stacy’s family! This is our second time traipsing around together and Stacy has been in on one of my “Getting to Know Your SLR” workshops! Needless to say, I’m a big fan of her. She’s fun, her family is fun, and I love chasing them with my camera! They’re old pros! They were up for anything I threw at them. That’s my favorite … my families trust me to do my thing.

The light was divine, I could shoot in the forest all.day.long. So so beautiful!!

The light … totally inspires me. Totally.

Cute kids, totally inspire me. Totally.

Wildflowers and hugging children holding them. Inspires me … Totally.

Mother daughter pictures inspire me. Melt.my.heart.precious. Totally.

So, the down side of blogging a session practically two months later is that I don’t remember the details of the session and can’t reiterate the fun story behind it. Bummer. But I do remember that when we got to my favorite open field, I was expecting beautiful tall grass blowing in the wind … instead … we found all my beautiful grass mowed down to the ground. Who would do such a thing? Don’t they know photographers depend on tall swaying grassy fields?  I did what I do best and we walked a little farther and used what was available. That’s my favorite way to shoot anyway … I improvise! We captured a little bit of heaven and the sweet heart of this fun family which was way more important than the disappointing grass that did not sway in the wind.  Thanks Stacy! I love your family!
