I’ve had more ”I’m a new auntie” moments in the last year than I ever anticipated. Baby Caitlyn is number 5 within less than two years. I am now the proud Auntie of 6 precious souls. It’s a beautiful and treasured role – even though I’m overwhelmed by the chaos and noise levels when we’re all together … can you imagine a family gathering meal with 10 adults and 9 children ages 11, 9, 4, 3, 18 mo, 18 mo, 15 mth., 4 mth., and newborn? That’s a lot of diapers and little people who are at an age where everything is “mine” and that climbing over gates results in … broken gates, you get the idea. There are many moments when there is a crescendo of noise that is only quieted by food, movies, or a rare nap. Total chaos. Wow. It’s rich and crazy. I love kissing their faces. I love loving them. And I love that someone else gets to take those precious tiny people home. *sigh*
Let me introduce you to my most recent beautiful niece, Caitlyn. She’s beautiful!! And for being only four days old at this point … she was very wakeful!

Who’s this?!! This is big sister Bekah – suddenly bumped from being the baby of her family. She got a quick Auntie snuggle mid-session – who could resist that face? I love Bekah for her feisty attitude – she’s got pizazz and I totally appreciate that.

Over the last couple of years I’ve gotten a little self portrait with my new baby nieces and nephews - this sweet girl couldn’t be left out!

Kindra - Fantastic photos. Love the photo with the yellow/lace background…swoon! She has Bekah and Will’s mouth
