a blast from the past

This is a very special family!! My hubby and I were youth leaders 10 years ago when Shawn was the youth pastor. They moved away for several years and now … three kids and many life changes later they are back in town and it was SOOOO good to reconnect with them!  You know how there are some people you just connect with so easily? It was as if no time had passed at all. I love their heart. I love their story. I loved enjoying their family.  I could not choose just a couple to show here, so I’m choosing a bunch … these are so so cute!

I just love this soo soo much! Everyone piled on mom and dad’s bed. The kids were watching themselves in the mirror on the opposite wall. It was funny. My heart sings when I’m editing great moments like this!

These kids are so adorable. And just sweet! She’s just beautiful and isn’t the little guy a spitting image of his dad?!

How cute is that? It’s amazing how many great shots you can get just hanging out in the family room!
