Wow! Getting back into my scheduled sessions after a nice long break over Christmas and New Year’s and I get off to a running start! This sweet sweet family was so adorable … and … busy busy with non-stop movement with young twin boys! Take a peek into the life of this little family who allowed me to capture them in their own home right where life happens. It was a great hour!!
We started in the basement where the kids spend a lot of time playing. This first picture cracks me up and dad told me the artwork on the wall behind them was done by the boys themselves!

Then, we moved up to the kids’ rooms where they showed me many many of their most prized treasures … American Girl dolls, painted pottery …

Next … a little rest stop for making paper snowflakes and having a little snack.

Family snuggle time …

Getting six family members together in one frame for a photo-op can be a challenge! The first pic is to show what’s really happening in that moment. Yes I shot it this way on purpose … real life – upside down – I think it’s beautiful … the second is for the picture frame!![]()

I love the tongue in cheek and the peeking from behind. So cute and so real! Makes me smile … as does this one … there’s just so much going on here! It’s wonderful!

Lastly, we headed outside. Mom and Dad were great sports – there’s something about playing in the snow that brings the kid out of the adults!! So much fun.

I think these next two are my personal favorites. Mom is so happy in the first one – not happy she just got nailed with snow in the face … but genuinely happy, enjoying her kids. It’s really beautiful.

And this one is just so tender. A mother’s kiss …

And then there is Dad who let everyone pelt him with snow … falling down … begging for more. The boys were lovin’ it. Dad was too – he sure took a lot of abuse for these pics!

Beth, thanks for inviting me into your home for a bit. I hope I was able to capture just a glimpse of your family’s spirit! What a sweet little family – as I left I thought of my own family as my time there felt so familiar. A little bit of chaos and a whole lot of love!
