a girl with a mission {1}

… a mission to crochet a beautiful project.

… a mission to catch the best shot of such project.

Getting the best shot in my bathroom mirror turned into quite an adventure. First … you take lots of pictures hoping for a cute one that shows the right details. Then you feel like a dork for taking so many pictures and you start making faces at yourself because that’s how you feel while taking the “nice” pictures. Rather than try to choose one … I thought I would show the progression of what really happens when trying to self-portrait a fabulous new hat. I crocheted it while my Internet was down for two plus days, imagine how much time that freed up! I’m tickled at how it turned out – I love it, love it , love it.

UPDATE: I found the pattern for this hat in this book from the library! There are many cute projects in this one – not all how-to books are winners but this one has my vote! The pattern is copyrighted so I think that means I can’t make and sell … but … I can gift – 12 more months till Christmas.:)
