fall sightings

Gorgeous.

This is my favorite season, though I’ve struggled to embrace it this year – the colors and sunshine make it irresistible!! I really miss my vitamin D when winter comes to the windy city; so little sunshine, so grey, so depressing. I’m a Minnesota girl, so I grew up loving winter. People around here think I’m crazy but, unless you’ve lived there you don’t know that winters are beautiful in Minnesota! The sun shines, it’s very cold so the snow stays white. Beautiful. Over the last two days, I’m finding myself wishing I could soak up the sunshine and store it for the winter so I don’t feel so depleted as the long cold months of winter drag on in this area. {sigh} Oh well, something I’m working on these days is living in the now. So … here’s to the beauty of now … and I know that when the time comes, there will be beauty in the grey of winter too. Stick around and I’ll be sure to share it with you!
