Welcome to my blog!

Thanks for visiting!

I'm a mom to three amazing kids, wife to the man who swept me off my feet 12 years ago, and a child of God. I'm passionate about a lot of things, my family, my friends, my faith just to name a few ... and of course art and photography!

My goal for this place is to be a source of sneek peeks for my client's captured "moments" as well as a place to share my own as these days of parenthood fly by. I want to remember the moments that are often taken for granted in the busyness of the day to day. I find beauty and joy in taking time to freeze a moment with a picture, and even more joy in sharing it with others. Thanks for taking the time to visit. I hope you leave inspired in some way!

a new year

We spent the evening with friends in the neighborhood. The three women in my accountability group and their families. All of whom live within 10 blocks of us.  What a treasure. It was our second annual new year together. Our friendship has grown this year from enjoying each other but just skimming the surface, to a deepening friendship and understanding of each other. These ladies are a major source of support and inspiration and accountability to me. We pray together, laugh together, cry together, and eat a lot of food together. It was the best way to bring in the new year … with dear friends and their precious families.

Then, finally, the babies gave their good night kisses and the big kids could really settle in and relax.

We played games like 80′s trivia (of which I knew nothing – I was terrible at it – I know nothing of actors, TV shows, music – nothing nothing nothing at all). And ‘How well do you know your bride,” funny stuff. Once the babies were in bed we didn’t see much of the kids except for the occasional, “When are we doing ice cream, I feel like I missed it!”

The boys stayed up to midnight for their first time ever. Neither fell asleep … well, Aidan fell asleep one minute after midnight. They were so tired.  Here’s the morning after …

Happy Happy New Year to all! I’m still thinking on the resolutions for the year … I’m not entirely inspired. Thoughts to come.
